Lisbeth Eugenie Christensen has produced a series of new works on paper to be shown in her first solo show at GALLERY B15. The show also consists of several of the sketches and outlines that is the genesis of the larger works presented.
The title of the exhibition is Playmate, because it is important to emphazize the humor and the playfull spirit rendering the artistic practise of Lisbeth Eugenie Christensen. On an ad hoc basis the works exhibited suggests a constant workflow where each piece becomes and extension of the prior.
Lisbeth Eugenie Christensen has exhibited on several important solo and group projects, amongst these it is relevant to mention Himmerlands Art Museum in 2012, and Ringsted galleriet together with Per Ahlmann, and latest in 2013 at Vestjyllands Kunstpavillion. The Danish State driven art foundation (Statens Kunstfond) has purchased 3 paintings, and Ny Carlsberg Fonden has recently purchased one painting of the artist.
Lisbeth Eugenie Christensen is born in 1969 in Hjørring (DK), and is educated from the Kolding school of Design and Architecture 1990 -1995.
